Our Mission

We aim to provide comprehensive, professional therapy and testing services for all ages and needs. Our team is dedicated to empathetic and personalized mental health care, using a collaborative approach to ensure each client feels safe and heard.

As of January 2025 we will no longer be providing testing services.

About Us

Surdy Psychological Services was started in 2017 by Dr. Theodore M. Surdy, with the hopes of giving clients full support in a relaxed environment. Being culturally and LGBT+ affirming are important to all our trained staff, to maintain a judgement free space. We work with you and your other providers to meet your goals and find the right treatment for you.

Ready to take the first step? Our skilled counselors are ready to listen and guide you through healing. Whether you’re looking for individual, couples, or family therapy or psychological testing, we will match you with the right therapist and services. We help clients to work through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more.

Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
